As a professional massage therapist
since 1998, I am committed to learning about the different approaches
used throughout the world to therapeutic massage therapy and manual
lymphatic drainage. My goal is to ensure that individual patients get
the correct treatment for their specific condition(s).
My education and training as a massage therapist occurred in Europe. This program
spanned 2.5 years for which I completed 2,230 hours of in-class, instructor-supervised
course work. Special emphasis was placed on a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology,
kinesiology, and massage techniques. In addition, I worked in hospitals that specialized
in sports injury treatment, cancer treatment, and rehabilitation. I am also certified in
Manual Lymphatic Drainage/Complete Decongestive Physiotherapy (MLD/CDP) with over 180 hours of education.
I speak English, Spanish, German, French, and Arabic.
